Project Overview
This Fort York location was an empty unit at the start — no lighting, no circuits, no grooming power. We built the full electrical system to support both retail (front-of-house) and pet spa operations (back-of-house).
The install included a new panel layout, lighting design for product display, and multiple dedicated circuits for professional tubs, dryers, wash stations, and cleaning equipment. Wet areas were protected and labeled to meet inspection requirements.

- Main Service & Panel: Installed new panelboard and branch circuits sized for grooming equipment and store operations.
- Branch Circuits for Grooming: Ran dedicated lines for dryers, pumps, wash stations, and rinse areas in the spa zone.
- Retail + Feature Lighting: Installed ceiling lighting to highlight shelves, product walls, and checkout.
- Back Room / Work Lighting: Added brighter task lighting in grooming and wash areas for safety, cleaning, and handling animals.
- GFCI Protection in Wet Zones: Provided protected receptacles and proper labeling where there is water, splash, or cleaning runoff.
- Inspection & Turnover: Created circuit labeling / panel schedules and supported ESA inspection for sign-off.
