The Alley

Project Description

The Alley is a bubble tea and specialty drink franchise. This project was a full electrical build from an empty unit into an operating retail store — complete with a full drink prep bar, refrigeration, sealing machines, induction heaters, and POS service area. Work included a brand-new distribution panel, branch circuits to all beverage equipment, lighting for both the customer area and back prep area, emergency and exit lighting, and power for signage, POS, and displays.

Scope of Work

  • Main electrical distribution — installed new panels and breakers sized for continuous-use beverage equipment and refrigeration loads
  • Equipment power — dedicated circuits and disconnects for brewers, shaker and sealer machines, undercounter fridges, freezers, the ice machine, prep sinks, and hot water / induction heating equipment
  • Service counter & POS — clean power for cashier stations, POS terminals, order screens, and menu display boards
  • Lighting & ambience — overhead lighting in front-of-house, work lighting behind the bar, and accent lighting to match the brand look
  • Emergency / exit lighting — emergency lighting and exit signage meeting life-safety requirements for customer occupancy
  • Final testing & ESA — load verification, breaker labeling, GFCI protection where required, and ESA inspection support prior to opening

Benefits to Client

  • A brand-new bubble tea store powered from scratch and ready for service
  • Clean routing and labeled distribution — easy equipment changes or expansion down the road
  • Lighting, POS, and prep areas energized and tested before opening
  • Life-safety lighting in place for public occupancy
