Project Description
This package delivered a mobile temporary power system energizing multiple construction and commissioning areas simultaneously at the NextStar Energy site. Seoul Electric designed, built, and installed a total of eight mobile power distribution units in-house — covering distribution from primary sources to portable gear, safe feeder routing, balanced loading, and clean drops to tools, lighting, controls, and process equipment. Everything was engineered to minimize downtime in a live, multi-trade environment, with end-to-end integration: mobile switchboards and panels, cam-lock interfaces, load centers with GFCI protection, grounding and bonding, labeling, and full documentation.
Scope of Work
- Unit fabrication — designed and built eight custom mobile distribution units in-house, with switchboards, transformers, and cam-lock in/out interfaces
- Source tie-ins — generator and load bank connections at primary sources
- Distribution — 480V and 120/208V feeders, portable panels, load centers, and GFCI protection
- Cable management — cable tray, trench, and raceway routing with hangers, supports, and clear labeling
- Power drops — safe, tidy drops to tools, lighting, controls, and process equipment, organized by zone
- Grounding & bonding — temporary electrode, bonding jumpers, and verification per OESC and ESA requirements
- Protection & coordination — breaker settings, load balancing, and arc-flash and warning labels
- Documentation — one-line diagrams, panel schedules, redlines and as-builts, and inspection packages
