MyMy Chicken

Project Description

MyMy Chicken is a Korean-style fried chicken restaurant. This project was a complete electrical installation, taking an empty tenant space to a fully operating commercial kitchen and front-of-house dining area. Work included new service distribution, kitchen equipment feeds, hood and make-up air power, lighting, emergency lighting, and customer-area power for POS, signage, and menu screens.

Scope of Work

  • Main electrical distribution — installed new panels, breakers, and feeders dedicated to kitchen and dining loads
  • Kitchen equipment feeds — circuits and disconnects for fryers, warmers, prep tables, refrigeration, the make-up air unit, exhaust hood, and fire suppression interlock power
  • Lighting & controls — general lighting, prep-area task lighting, and dining-area lighting matched to the restaurant's layout and branding
  • Emergency / exit lighting — supplied and installed emergency lights and exit signs to meet code for public occupancy
  • Front-of-house power — POS stations, menu board displays, signage, and customer outlet locations
  • Inspection & turnover — tested loads, confirmed breaker labeling, and supported final ESA sign-off so the restaurant could open

Benefits to Client

  • A new restaurant powered from scratch — fully wired for cooking, prep, and serving
  • Emergency and exit lighting installed to code for public use
  • Labeled panels and clean routing for easier maintenance and future expansion
  • Tested, inspected, and ready for day-one operation
