Custom House (Lakeshore)

Project Description

This project was a full electrical build for a new custom home — from rough-in to final trim — featuring a 400A main service. The scope included complete power distribution, interior and exterior lighting, life-safety systems, and high-end finish details matched to the home's architectural design. The installation covered the 400A service and panelboard setup, full branch circuit wiring throughout the house, code-compliant smoke and CO systems, and clean, coordinated finishing work consistent with a luxury build.

Scope of Work

  • Main service & panel — installed a 400A main service and panelboards sized for the entire home, with capacity for future loads such as an EV charger and pool
  • Full branch circuit rough-in — power to all rooms, appliances, HVAC, mechanical equipment, and specialty loads
  • Interior lighting — pot lights, feature lighting, and dimmer-controlled zones for living areas, kitchen, and bedrooms
  • Exterior / architectural lighting — soffit lighting, entry lighting, and accent lighting for the property
  • Smoke / CO protection — interconnected, code-compliant smoke and CO detectors throughout the home
  • Finishing & trim — devices, switches, receptacles, GFCIs, and custom cover plates aligned with the interior design and colour choices
  • Inspection & sign-off — labeling, panel schedules, and ESA support through final inspection

Benefits to Client

  • A fully powered custom residence from day one — built new, not retrofitted
  • Coordinated lighting design across interior and exterior spaces
  • Labeled and documented for easy future upgrades — EV charger, pool, and beyond
  • Finish-level workmanship that meets the homeowner's design standards
