Custom House (Georgetown)

Project Description

This project was a new luxury home build in Georgetown, Ontario. Seoul Electric provided the complete electrical installation from the ground up — service, distribution, lighting, life-safety devices, and smart-ready rough-in. The work included main service installation, panel and subpanel placement, interior and exterior lighting layouts, custom fixture rough-ins, dedicated appliance circuits, mechanical feeds, and full code compliance for a modern large-scale home.

Scope of Work

  • Main service & distribution — installed the service entrance, main panel, and sub-panels sized for the high electrical demand of a modern custom home
  • Lighting & controls — rough-in and installation of pot lights, feature lighting, exterior architectural lighting, and smart dimmer and switch locations
  • Branch circuits — full branch wiring for general receptacles, kitchen counter circuits, laundry, cold room, garage, exterior outlets, sump, and more
  • Appliance & mechanical feeds — dedicated circuits for HVAC, heat pump, range, wall ovens, microwaves, fridges, freezers, and wine storage
  • Life safety — interconnected smoke and CO alarms per code, installed in all required zones and tied to main power with battery backup
  • Future-ready conduit — rough-in for security, cameras, data, and optional EV charging for long-term flexibility
  • Inspection & approval — coordinated ESA inspections and ensured full compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
